today marks the first day of my career being a waiter. since i gt nothing to do, i might as well go experience the harsh reality. 5.30pm, i went there with zeal n enthusiasm. 531pm, my mood was dull and dreary. i gt the job with the help of my aunt, so i dont want to disappoint her. first thing i gt to do is to change into their attire, a long-sleeved white shirt, with food colourings on it. its really stuffy n uncomfortable wearing it. wat complicate things is that the aircon is still not operational. gt to wait when theres customers then can switch on. damn hot. gt myself sweaty just standing around. then we eat dinner together, cooked by our only chef. its a sichuan restaurant so its all hot n spicy food. just a few servings n beads of perspiration roll down my cheek n i just canot stop them. there were altogether 2 male waiter n 3 waitress including me. i think im the youngest n the most inept. standing there like a statue or non-existent. i can only do the cleaning of the tables or tidying up. stuff such as asking patrons wat they want n carrying out the dishes to the respective tables, i cant do any of them as im still not experienced. so im like loitering around doing nothing for 4 hrs. boredom, standing there like an idiot while all the other waiters n waitress r busy attending. when i look myself in the mirror, i dont think i look like a waiter. more like a ruffian with a parang behind my back. still dont know y i gt this job. nxt week still gt 2 shifts in the night. then my night driving skills not gd due to severe myopia. i think im going to give up in a matter of days. the pay is not bad, for me lah. gt 20 bucks for standing there doing nothing. i think i can make do with it.

today is the fateful day of many jc 1 students. though the results r released, i still didnt get mine. think my father forgot to send to me, gt to wait for a day. i would like to use this oppotunity to apologise to 2 pple if they did not perform up to expectations. qs n ys, sorry for playing with the both of u during os. hope it didnt cause to underperform.
